★電力使用制限期間の終了に伴う西早稲田キャンパスでの対応について

電気事業法２７条に基づく電気の使用制限（以下「使用制限」）が、９月９日（金）
をもって終了することから、西早稲田キャンパスでの節電対策を緩和し、これまで
２０％としていた削減目標を１５％とします。

なお、西早稲田キャンパスの正門と西門の開門時間の延長措置（6:00～24:00）は、
９月末までとし、１０月１日以降は通常の開門時間（8:00～22:30）とします。

To all Students, Faculty and Staff at Nishi-Waseda Campus

Our measures to lift of electricity consumption restriction
In accordance to the lift of electricity consumption restriction based on Article 27 of the Electricity
Business Act on Friday, September 9, we relax the restriction to reduce the electricity use from 20% to 15% compared to last year.
Main gate and West gate at Nishi-Waseda campus open from 6:00am to 24:00am by September 30, and open from 8:00am to 22:30pm as normal
on and after October 1.

★開門時間について
7月1日より9月末まで、西早稲田キャンパスの正門と西門の開門時間が、6:00～24:00となります。

★空調の使用について
　西早稲田キャンパスにおいて、東京電力の電力供給不足に対応し、昨年ピーク時電力の２０％削減のため、既に空調の原則的な使用禁止、照明の間引きなど、様々な節電対策を取ってきております。
　しかしながら、６月となり、気温が上昇し、湿度も上がり、不快指数がかなり上昇することが予想されることから、教室棟等での学習環境等を維持するため、「温度設定２８℃厳守」を前提として、空調の使用を認めることとします。

Notice: Using of Air-conditioning

We make every effort to reduce 20 % of electricity consumption compared to the peak of last year by no using air conditioning as a rule and lights out in the hallway etc. at Nishi-Waseda campus due to the shortage of supply of electricity.
However, the temperature fluctuations will be expected as well as discomfort index in June, we permit you to use air conditioning on the premise of preset temperature to 28 ℃ of air conditioning to maintain the environment in classrooms.

The hour of open gate from April 21 to June 30 is as follows.

土日祝日の入構制限は継続します。
・８：００～１９：００

在学生ならびに教職員への緊急連絡は、原則として一斉メールとWebで行います。新ネットポータルへの移行に際し転送先等の設定変更未実施の者は、速やかに設定変更を行ってください。
キャンパス内の建物全館について、キャンパス企画部および複数の専門業者により建物診断を実施済みです。調査段階において、建物の構造の健全性を損ねるデータは報告されていません。

Until April 20 (Wed), we will lift restrictions on the entrance to Nishi-Waseda Campus during only the hours listed below. We continue campus lockout on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays.

Please note that we will contact current students and faculty members in emergency by Waseda-Net emails and Website. In case you have not changed the setting for forwarding your emails after the renewal, please refer to the following website to set as soon as possible.
Campus Planning Division and some experts have examined all the building at Nishi-Wsaseda campus.We do not receive any data showing the damage to the structure of the buildings in the phase of investigation.

電力消費の抑制のため、早稲田大学理工学術院では、西早稲田キャンパスにおいて以下の節電対策を継続することとします。

・共通実験装置等の運用時間制限
・大規模な電力を用いる実験・研究の自粛
・エアコンの原則使用禁止
・エレベータの停止（各号館１台のみ稼働）
・廊下の照明の間引きおよび不要な照明の消灯
・使用していない機器等の電源オフ
・地下鉄西早稲田駅出口エスカレータの停止等

学生および教職員のみなさまには、引き続き節電へのご協力をお願いいたします。

We continue saving electricity in Nishi-Waseda Campus as follows.

*Time restriction using experiment device
*Voluntary restraint on experimentation and research activities requiring large-scale electric power
*No using heating as a general rule
*Stop using some elevators
*Lights-out in the hallways, etc.
*Power-off of device etc which not in use *Stop using escalator in Nishi-Waseda station (metro)

今回の地震の影響で、春学期の各種日程が以下の通り変更となります。

Due to the Great Tohoku & Kanto Earthquake, time schedules for various events in the Spring semester have changed. For more details, please refer to the followings.

１．初登校日・授業開始日・科目登録・ガイダンス日程
4/21（木）以降、登校して頂くイベントがあります。5/6（金）から8/4（木）が授業の日程です。
学部新2年生以上の科目登録は、4/13（水）から行われます。学部新1年生、大学院生の科目登録は、4/22（金）から行われます。

1. The beginning date of classes, Course registration, Guidance time schedules (For IPSE Students)

>From Apr 21 (Thur) onwards, academic events will start in earnest at campuses.
You can need to take part in some of them, so please carefully check up relevant websites for latest information.Classes for the Spring semester will begin on May 6 (Fri) and end on August 4 (Thur).
The rescheduled 1st course registration period for IPSE undergraduate students will start from Apr 13 (Wed). The rescheduled 1st course registration period for IPSE graduate students will begin from Apr 22 (Fri).

２．日本学生支援機構奨学金登録者の書類受取・提出日程変更
（ビザの種類が「永住者」・「定住者」・「日本人（永住者）の配偶者、子」以外の外国人留学生は対象外です。）

チャレンジ別冊受け取りは、4/21（木）～52号館1階で行います。
必要書類提出・スカラネット入力は、4/21（木）～5/13（金）までとなります。

2. Change in time schedules for receipt / submission of documents for scholarship students registered at JASSO (excluding overseas students having visa types other than “permanent resident”, “fixed domicile resident”, or “spouse or child of Japanese (permanent resident)” )

If you are scholarship students registered at Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO), please visit 1st floor of No.52 Building in Nishi-Waseda Campus from Apr 21 (Thur) through May 6 (Fri) to collect application documents (“Challenge Supplementary Volume”).
You are kindly requested to submit all necessary application documents and make necessary data entry through “Scholar net” from Apr 21 (Thur) through May 13 (Fri).

４．地震被災者への学費減免・奨学金情報

If you have fallen victim to the Mar 11 Great Tohoku & Kanto Earthquake,
you are entitled to have tuition fees reduced / exempted and apply for scholarships.

５．科目登録関連資料と学生証裏面シール等の配布について（在学生のみ）
受け取りができなくても、学部生のWeb科目登録に必要な「科目登録の手引き(学部生用）」は、下記HPページからダウンロードすることができます。

また、学生証の裏面シールを含むその他の配布資料については、51号館2階教員室にて平日9:00～17:00の間に行います。

5.Distribution of new backside sticker of your Student ID card and documents related to courser registration and so on (Current Students ONLY)
We will expect to distribute to you new backside sticker of your Student ID card, Waseda Diary, etc at 2nd floor of No.52 Building in Nishi- Waseda Campus　(9:00～17:00 weekday only).

６．教職課程説明会（3月31日開催）について
